Construction managers are based both on site and in the office and are expected to work with a wide range of people, from architects to construction workers.

This programme covers a wide variety of technical, financial and planning aspects in theory and practice, using both traditional and online teaching methods. Most construction management graduates in Scotland have trained at Glasgow Caledonian University.

For Year 3 Entry: HND Construction Management with minimum grade C in Year 1 and minimum grade B in Year 2. Other Built Environment HND programmes may be considered for entry or for Year 2 entry

Foundation Apprenticeship (SCQF Level 6)


Accepted as equivalent to one Higher at grade B as part of the overall grade profile of Highers required for entry. Any essential subjects at Higher should still be achieved in addition to the Foundation Apprenticeship.
