The course also responds to the diversity and challenges that learners face and examines the contributory factors as well as focussing on successful strategies that can help support learners. <br/> There is a clear focus on putting your skills into practice as there is a placement module each year and assessments are focussed on practice. <br/>This is a multi-disciplinary course that includes sociology, psychology, social policy, educational theory, history and cultural theory. <br/>If you are interested in teaching in the post compulsory sector, successful completion of this course will guarantee you an interview on our PgCE programme.
