**This degree leads to a Masters level qualification and is professionally accredited by the Geological Society of London. As well as your main Imperial degree, you will also receive the award of the Associateship of the Royal School of Mines on completion of this course.**

By studying the Earths internal core, crust, oceans, atmosphere, and the solar system, we can gain a better understanding of how our planet works.

Our minimum entry standard is 38 points overall, to include: 6 in Mathematics* at higher level 6 in Physics at higher level 6 in a third subject at higher level Additionally: an appropriate modern foreign language grade 2 higher level, or grade 3 standard level. *Mathematics Analysis and Approaches or the Applications and Interpretation syllabi will be accepted at higher level with no preference.
