You will analyse how effective people management expertise can help organisations gain competitive advantage through employing the most appropriate and qualified people, strategy and Human Resource Management (HRM) techniques.<br/><br/>Our Business Management and Human Resources BSc is approved by the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and the curriculum is designed to enable you to acquire the professional competencies required for a successful and exciting future career as one of the business leaders of tomorrow, and to improve your understanding of contemporary developments in both subject areas.<br/><br/>You will be introduced to management and learn to critically think about the world of work and a manager’s role in relation to it, as well as management practices. You will also explore global business environments so you can comprehend the different macro-environment factors that can affect organisations. We will provide you with the foundations of Human Resource Management (HRM), focusing on areas including the nature of employment relationships, regulations and current challenges and issues in HRM. These foundations will be further developed on specialist modules as you progress on the course.
