Initial modules will build your understanding in the key topics underpinning the subject, including forensic chemistry, forensic biology and criminalistic science. You will also gain valuable laboratory and crime scene experience to help you stay ahead in this fast-moving science. Teaching will take place in Keeles state-of-the-art Central Science Laboratories and our dedicated Crime Scene facilities. The programme will culminate with the opportunity to unleash your creativity and apply the techniques you have acquired throughout your studies by completing a final year forensic science team research project.<br/><br/>For the human biology element of the course you will explore the physiology of the body’s major systems, human health, disease and the relationship between the human body with the environment.
