There are typically over ten fully funded places annually.<br/><br/>Collaboration with our industrial partners, such as BT, IBM and AstraZeneca, ensures that we produce a generation of highly skilled researchers prepared for careers in academia or industry.<br/><br/>Commencing with an MRes, which provides a robust grounding and the development of research skills, you will identify a topic and plan your PhD research. You will also develop a versatile skill set including: advanced problem solving, programming, and a broad range of presentation and dissemination skills.<br/><br/>The remaining three years will be spent working on the PhD project guided by appropriate supervisory teams, whilst taking a range of training programmes and experiencing visits to world-leading universities.
