Social Science BA (Hons)

**The BA (Hons) Social Science degree programme looks at the growing area of the recognised study of Social Science, with an evaluation of the psychological, political and sociological forces that shape our decisions at personal, collective and global levels.**<br/><br/>Alongside more traditional elements of the Social Sciences, such as Penology and Social Policy, the multidisciplinary approach demonstrates the link to new and emerging areas of employment and training for graduates.<br/><br/>A choice directed towards Politics and Government builds on insight into core dimensions of culture, community and political representation in the context of resource allocation/distribution and also has many links with local organisations for students to benefit from work experience and shadowing opportunities.
