Statistics help us arrive at the truth.<br/><br/>We live in an era where more data is collected than ever before. For this reason, demand is high for talented statisticians. Our BSc Mathematics and Statistics degree aims to equip you with the advanced mathematical ideas and computational techniques to succeed in this area. The course includes modern applications such as medical statistics, and a major final-year project which offers a connection to contemporary statistics research.<br/><br/>Over the duration of the BSc Mathematics with Statistics degree, you will gain a solid grounding in the fundamentals of mathematics from geometry and linear algebra to complex variables and probability theory. This will be complemented by core modules designed to develop your skills as a statistician, as well as varied further topics chosen from all areas of pure and applied mathematics and statistics.<br/><br/>In the final year, you will undertake a substantial statistics project.
