You’ll study areas including reactions and mechanisms, materials chemistry, drug discovery, computational chemistry and spectroscopy, chemical synthesis and physiochemical processes.<br/><br/>Throughout our chemistry degree, you’ll develop the kind of practical skills vital for lab work, along with a balanced understanding of inorganic, organic, physical and analytical chemistry. This may be subject to availability.<br/><br/><br/>- Our diverse research activities directly inform our teaching. These focus on making a difference to global problems and creating a sustainable and healthy future, and include hydrogen fuel cells, catalysts, biosensors, drug discovery, green chemistry and the chemical monitoring of environmental change.<br/>
