Our specialised course blends practice with theory that will equip the students with the skills and knowledge required to design, develop and deploy the next generation wireless communication systems. Our strong links with industry have allowed us to develop a practically focused course, which is essential to the needs of the rapidly changing telecommunications industry.<br/><br/>This course provides a thorough understanding of modern and future communication systems and offers the opportunity to develop relevant practical and theoretical knowledge necessary to be at the forefront of the rapidly evolving telecommunications sector where the demand for skilled graduates is very high. The course is also taught by field experts who are research active and known for their work and contributions to the discipline and ensures our courses remain innovative. A number of students who join this programme contribute to the existing research of the programme team.<br/><br/>We are an official Cisco Academy and Huawei Academy licensed to provide certification training and equipped with the latest industry-standard equipment. We have also recently opened the London Digital Twin Centre, have our own 5G & IoT research group and have also undertaken notable research in areas such as MIMO, LTE-A, 5G, and Disaster Communication Networks, etc.
