Your journey into storytelling and visual creativity begins here!<br/><br/>You will explore a range of genres including documentary, drama and entertainment, as you develop professional skills in single and multi-camera productions. Exciting and highly practical, this course will give you the opportunity to produce short films and television programmes in all areas of broadcast – including streaming platforms, high end television drama, factual and multi-camera studio production. You will gain specialist skills, as well as a firm grounding in each stage of the production process, from initial script writing, research and pre-production through to shooting, to post-production. You will have lessons and take part in workshops to develop your practical and theoretical skills. You will complete a final, major project demonstrating these skills, which will include image production and the ability to work in a team. You will also develop your analytical skills and deeper understanding of video/film production – fully preparing you for a successful career in this exciting industry.<br/><br/>As part of this, you will have access to professional filmmaking equipment including: a custom-built film studio featuring two infinity coves, green and white, a range of editing software, professional cinema cameras, microphones, audio recorders, LED lighting, Tracks, cranes, sliders, and gimbals.<br/><br/>**Progression**<br/>Successfully completing this course will enable you to progress onto our Level 6 qualification - the BA (Hons) Film and Television Production top-up degree. This is awarded by the University of Gloucestershire. Alternatively, you can progress directly into employment within this exciting industry.
