In Wig Making and Barbering for Continuity, which are highly sought- after within the film and theatre industry. Wig making will provide wider opportunities for those seeking employment in theatrical settings as well as additional skills if the focus is helping those who have been affected by hair loss. Within the Advanced Prosthetics module students will focus on advanced sculpting skills as well creation of full-face prosthetics, a lucrative and increasingly sought-after-skill. Scar management practices will focus on scar camouflage and management and will enrich existing skills in the art of Semi-permanent Makeup thereby improving graduate employability. As part of our work ready guarantee, the course is supported by industry specialists and practitioners, working alongside brands such as Kryolan and Finishing Touches, as well as guest speakers from the industry that will provide valuable knowledge on how to make relevant connections and networking opportunities within business. The course is for those holding Foundation Degree or other Level 5 study that includes the practical components of semi-permanent makeup. Once you graduate, you may decide to study for a PGCE if you wish to progress into teaching. You may also decide to set up your own business or seek employment as a practitioner.
