The BEng (Hons) Top-up Degree in Mechanical Manufacturing Engineering offers a progression route from Level 5 FdEng or HND qualifications in an appropriate Engineering discipline. This programme has been developed and successfully delivered to meet the needs of key employers within the North East region along with national and inter-national businesses. This course aims to develop under-graduates and industry professionals with higher level skills, contributing to the regions competitiveness and to shorten the skills gap of future engineers both nationally and internationally. This BEng (Hons) Top-up degree will provide practical experience including destructive and non-destructive testing, finite element analysis and fracture mechanics. Academic progression is available through an appropriate Masters Degree.
