Drug delivery and nanomedicine is a competitive and fast-growing research area. It is driving emerging healthcare concepts including advanced drug targeting, precision medicine and theranostics.<br/><br/>This course will provide you with key research training and skills for a career in this area to meet the market demand in the global pharmaceutical sector.<br/><br/>The MRes is designed for graduates of:<br/><br/><br/>- pharmacy<br/><br/><br/>- pharmaceutical sciences<br/><br/><br/>- related life sciences<br/><br/><br/>- physical sciences<br/><br/><br/>- engineering<br/><br/><br/>It is also for intercalating and qualified MBBS or BDS students. You can study the course as a stand-alone qualification or as an entry route to a PhD or MD.<br/><br/>**What youll learn**<br/>The taught part of the course includes subject-specific content in the area of drug delivery and nanomedicine. This will examine current challenges in drug delivery and how advanced formulation designs and nanotechnology can provide opportunities to enhance future treatment. You have the flexibility to select complementary modules and develop a bespoke course. You will also have training in general research principles, as well as other professional and key skills.<br/><br/>Your research project is the major element of the course.
