Youll have opportunities to engage with other students preparing to get into the creative industries and work in response to industry briefs. Guest speakers provide a valuable insight into the practical use of modern digital journalism platforms.<br/><br/>Our goal is to shape you into a journalist grounded in strong ethical principles and with a commitment to social justice. With our fully immersive green screen, NDI studio, podcast suite, and state-of-the-art 4K/6K cameras, were proud to inspire the next generation of media professionals, giving them the hands-on experience they need to help them become future ready.<br/><br/>**Assessment**<br/><br/>A combination of traditional and innovative assessment methods are used: including case studies, group projects, live briefs, peer review, time-constrained assessments and presentations. There are no examinations.<br/><br/>**Bursaries**<br/><br/>We want our courses to be accessible to students from any background, so we’ve put together a cash support package in the form of non-repayable bursaries to provide financial help where it’s really needed. Employers highly value multi-skilled creatives, with the visual communication skills necessary to produce effective campaigns across all digital media for a variety of audiences. Through our industry links, we have achieved a very high graduate employability rate. This degree provides an ideal base from which to go on to postgraduate study.<br/><br/>Digital Journalism graduates will be well-prepared for a wide variety of roles including: journalist, researcher, PR, vlogger, reporter, podcaster, marketing manager, social media/video content manager, producer or broadcast assistant.
