The LLM in Paris is an innovative suite of Master of Laws programmes, which are taught in English by Queen Mary academics with prominent visiting lecturers.<br/><br/>Developed by the Centre for Commercial Law Studies (CCLS) an LLM undertaken in Paris will lead to a prestigious Queen Mary University of London qualification.<br/><br/>You may opt for an LLM in International Business Law or a specialised LLM in the following areas:<br/><br/><br/>- Banking and Finance Law<br/><br/><br/>- Energy and Natural Resources Law<br/><br/><br/>- Intellectual Property Law<br/><br/><br/>- Comparative and International Dispute Resolution<br/><br/><br/>- Technology, Media and Telecommunications Law <br/><br/><br/>Each LLM will provide you with in-depth immersion in commercial law from both comparative and international perspectives, within a common law framework. They will enable you to enhance your understanding of your own legal system, by giving you the tools to explore current commercial law issues from an international and comparative perspective. Ultimately, CCLS aims to better prepare contemporary lawyers for an increasingly globalised world.<br/><br/>CCLS in Paris brings together a unique community of students from all over the world, from a diverse range of legal backgrounds and experience. You will have the opportunity to choose from a wealth of specialist topics, take different approaches to your learning, and meet students and academics from across the range of commercial law disciplines offered in Paris.<br/><br/>One of the distinctive features of the LLM in Paris programme is its flexible structure, designed to facilitate your completing the programme without having to interrupt your professional career. The taught elements are delivered in intensive daytime or evening classes, with the option to spread your studies over one year (full-time) or two years (part-time).
