Remarkable recent advances make neuroscience one of the fastest-growing and most exciting areas in biomedical sciences.<br/><br/>Taught jointly by Queen Mary University of Londons Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry and the School of Biological and Behavioural Sciences, this programme brings together core strengths of both departments. You’ll be taught by leading experts in every discipline, and have access to the labs, IT resources and libraries of each school.<br/><br/>You’ll build a strong foundation in biomedical science, including neuroanatomy, physiology, biochemistry, molecular biology, genetics and pharmacology. In the final year, you’ll choose from modules covering stem cells, the repair and regeneration of the nervous system and perspectives on brain disorders.<br/><br/>Final-year students can undertake their own laboratory-based research project or work with an existing research group at Queen Mary.
