In the first semester you will cover a range of key areas including biological psychology, cognitive psychology, social psychology and research methods.<br/><br/>In the second semester you will cover research methods in more depth (including qualitative methods), developmental psychology, individual differences and clinical psychology.<br/><br/>Through these taught modules you will build up a strong knowledge base to build a research project, which you will undertake in your final semester.<br/><br/>**No prior psychology undergraduate degree needed.**<br/><br/><br/>- Learn from experts in the field who take a rigorous, biological approach to psychology, studying it as a natural and experimental science <br/><br/><br/>- Receive hands-on training across a wide range of research methods (including qualitative methods) and the opportunity to apply these methods through empirical studies in either laboratory or naturalistic settings<br/><br/><br/>- Benefit from state-of-the-art facilities, including the Electroencephalography (EEG) Lab and the Behavioural Lab, where computer-based experiments can be run using various psychological software tools<br/><br/><br/>- Excellent employment prospects with students progressing onto research PhDs, clinical training, forensic psychology, organisational psychology and careers in social work, coaching or education<br/>
