The course is designed to foster independent creative thinking, ensuring that you graduate ready to shape the future of the performing arts industries. <br/><br/>Course Breakdown<br/><br/>Year 1<br/>Your first year focuses on building a strong foundation in performance skills and theoretical understanding.<br/>• Core training in acting techniques with a diverse range of global and inclusive methodologies<br/>• Introduction to voice and movement<br/>• Scene study and character exploration<br/>• Introduction to performance-making and ensemble work<br/>• Contextual studies in theatre and performance history<br/><br/>Year 2<br/>Building on your foundation, you will expand your skills and apply them in a range of performance contexts.<br/>• Advanced acting methodologies, with further emphasis on ensemble and devising<br/>• Development and application of key skills in voice and movement <br/>• Performance projects in contemporary and experimental theatre<br/>• Training for screen, voice-over, and digital performance including motion capture<br/>• Development of your skills in writing, editing, filming and producing<br/>• Industry preparation, including audition technique and entrepreneurship<br/>• Experiment with performance practices which may include stand-up comedy, drag, and spoken word<br/><br/>Year 3<br/>Your final year focuses on professional development and preparing for industry entry.<br/>• Public performances in professional venues working with leading industry professionals<br/>• Forming a performance company to produce a live or digital output which can be developed after graduation<br/>• Screen acting and voice-over techniques<br/>• Professional preparation, including showreel development and industry networking<br/>• Independent research project<br/>• London Showcase for agents and casting professionals
