The Academy jazz course benefits from small numbers, enabling students to receive a personalised education and close support throughout their studies.<br/>The deadline for your UCAS Conservatoires application is **2 October 2024**. <br/>All Jazz candidates are initially assessed by video recording as Round One of the audition process; the deadline for your video upload is **25 October 2024, midday UK time**.<br/><br/>Postgraduate students are a vital part of the Academy’s musical culture, working in a uniquely collaborative performance environment ideally suited to helping talented musicians — from across the globe — to achieve their musical ambitions.<br/><br/>The Master of Arts in Performance is the standard postgraduate programme for students who want to focus on performance and build on their professional skills. The MA is designed to allow maximum flexibility for you to concentrate upon the range of activities offered, to develop your own performance initiatives and to form a bridge to a performance career. The standard course length is two years, though in exceptional cases students can be allowed to take this one-year intensive course; the length of course can be discussed at your audition and adjusted later, you are not tied to the length you select in your application.
