Throughout the programme, you can expect to immerse yourself in a wide array of mediums, techniques, and creative processes.<br/><br/>Initially, youll delve into foundational principles, consolidating the basics of your selected artistic expression. These fundamental skills provide a solid framework for your artistic endeavours. As you progress, youll have the opportunity to explore your specialized area, or branch out in to new areas such as photography, printmaking, ceramics, or graphic design and more, based on your interests and goals.<br/><br/>Beyond technical proficiency, the course will also nurture your creative thinking and conceptual development. Youll engage in exercises designed to spark inspiration, challenge assumptions, and push the boundaries of your creativity. Whether youre pursuing further studies, launching a creative career, or simply seeking personal enrichment, the skills, experiences, and connections gained during your one-year Creative Arts course will serve as a solid foundation for your future endeavours in the arts.<br/><br/>1: Professional Development 2: Contextual Studies 3: Individual Project (Pearson-set)4: Techniques & Processes15: Media Practices 16: Material Practices<br/>Plus 2 subject specialist units <br/><br/>Entry Requirements: <br/>48 Ucas points via BTEC/ UAL/ OCR EXTENDED DIPLOMA, A LEVELS18+ Foundation Degree19+ Access to HE Diploma in a creative subject<br/><br/>Applications from mature students, who do not have the UCAS entry points, but who have the appropriate industry or freelance experience and employer references are also welcome to apply (place offered at our discretion). <br/><br/>All applicants are required to attend an interview and will be expected to present a portfolio of creative work.<br/><br/>Assessment: No Exams<br/><br/>There will be some additional costs incurred by the student, these will be dependent on specialisms selected to study, these are always kept to a minimum and discussed prior to commencement of study. <br/><br/>Where there are external trips and visits, these are not compulsory and will be determined on a per visit basis.
