Youll study a range of topics, and apply your skills on rewarding projects and assignments. After completing your foundation, youll have everything you need for full honours degree study, and progress directly onto the BA Business and Management course.<br/><br/>**How you learn:**<br/>All our courses are designed around a set of key principles based on engaging you with the world, collaborating with others, challenging you to think in new ways, and providing you with a supportive environment in which you can thrive.<br/><br/>The course is suitable if you dont meet the entry requirements for our BA (Hons) Business and Management course, or you want extra preparation before starting degree-level study. You share the first year with other Sheffield Business School foundation year students, then move on to the degree.<br/><br/>You will learn in a supportive, challenging and exciting environment. In doing so, youll fully prepare yourself for undergraduate study.<br/><br/>**Applied learning - Degree preparation**<br/><br/>After the foundation year, you will be ready to start the full degree. BA Business and Management is an engaging, challenging course where you will learn to excel in your field, under expert tutelage and with fantastic opportunities for progression, networking and work placements throughout.<br/><br/>**Placement opportunities**<br/><br/>You will have the opportunity to arrange a work placement in the second year of your full degree. This gives you a real-world experience to prepare you for your future career — improving your business acumen, self-management, contacts and interpersonal skills.<br/><br/>**Live projects**<br/><br/>On the BA degree, there are a range of projects, business simulations and client-led tasks that will allow you to apply your knowledge to real-life scenarios. Youll improve your analytical mindset, learning agility and critical thinking through these activities.<br/><br/>**Networking opportunities**<br/><br/>Your continued engagement and interaction with the business world will allow you many opportunities for networking throughout the honours degree.
