In order to capture the value and benefits of digital technologies, private and public sectors are adopting holistic change efforts to survive in their industries and be ahead of competitors. This course addresses digital transformation by exploring digital technologies, the latest enterprise system applications and relevant implementation challenges, Critical Success Factors (CSFs) through case studies.<br/><br/>**How you learn**<br/>All our courses are designed around a set of key principles based on engaging you with the world, collaborating with others, challenging you to think in new ways, and providing you with a supportive environment in which you can thrive.<br/><br/>During this course, youll explore how Information Systems/Information Technology enables operational efficiency and organisational effectiveness leading to business transformation.<br/><br/>With a mixture of practical and theoretical studies, youll gain advanced knowledge and solid grounding for your future career.<br/><br/>You learn through<br/><br/><br/>- our academic team<br/><br/><br/>- written coursework<br/><br/><br/>- projects and teamwork<br/><br/><br/>- presentations<br/><br/><br/>- the latest enterprise system applications and cases including SAP S/4 HANA<br/><br/><br/>- Blackboard, our virtual learning environment<br/><br/><br/>This course is delivered face-to-face over three semesters - teaching is scheduled based on the length of your course and the academic calendar.<br/><br/>**Applied learning - Live projects**<br/><br/>You will have the opportunity to go on a work placement for up to 12 months, starting during the summer of your second year. You are supported in finding placements and can apply for a vacancy as you would a job. There are dedicated sessions to support you in CV writing, interview skills and job applications.<br/><br/>**Networking opportunities**<br/><br/>The teaching team make use of their research and industry connections to facilitate the inclusion of real world scenarios and case studies within the teaching materials of many of the modules.
