It allows you to acquire the knowledge and scientific understanding of the core facets of psychology. It is accredited by the British Psychological Society and provides the graduate basis for chartered membership of the society (GBC)..<br/><br/>**How you learn** <br/>All our courses are designed around a set of key principles based on engaging you with the world, collaborating with others, challenging you to think in new ways, and providing you with a supportive environment in which you can thrive.<br/><br/>Designed to be delivered with one day per week attendance at university to allow people to continue in employment while they complete the degree, the course is supplemented by self-directed learning tasks that provide optimum flexibility for students who may also be working part-time and/or integrating family life.<br/><br/>You learn through:<br/>- lectures<br/><br/><br/>- seminars<br/><br/><br/>- workshops<br/><br/><br/>**Applied learning**<br/>**Live projects**<br/>You complete a large-scale research project under the supervision of a member of staff, which allows you to put the psychological knowledge and research skills youve honed over the course of the degree into practice.<br/><br/>You may be offered the opportunity to assist with undergraduate teaching and/or staff research projects (subject to availability). This will especially suit those interested in a career in academia. In addition, there will be many other opportunities for volunteering available via the wider University and through organisations outside of the University.
