Engineering (Manufacturing Engineering)

The Higher National Certificate in Manufacturing Engineering provides a specialist work-related programme of study that covers the key knowledge, understanding and practical skills required for employment in specialist engineering environments or further study in Engineering. <br/><br/>The course develops students as professional, self-reflecting individuals who are able to meet the demands of employers in the rapidly evolving engineering sector and adapt to a constantly changing world. The qualification also aims to widen access to higher education and enhance students’ career prospects. <br/><br/>This course embeds the development of key skills throughout the programme. Students will develop attributes and strengths required by twenty-first century employers. On completion of this course, students may wish to progress to further study at Level 5 on the Higher National Diploma in Engineering.
