The Higher National Certificate in Performing Arts (Dance) is a vocational course which explores contemporary and current practice whilst still acknowledging the traditional methods and practices of Dance. The course provides training in dance alongside a focus on contextual studies and industry knowledge. The aim is to enhance the trained dancer’s mindset to become a ‘thinking’ dancer and not a reciprocal one.
