Our range of Model-based Drug Development CPD units provide you with the knowledge and skills in pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics for making evidence-based decisions at various stages of drug development.<br/><br/>If you are interested in studying model-based drug development at postgraduate level to further your professional prospects, but dont have the time to dedicate to a full masters course, you can take one or more units from our MSc as standalone continuing professional development (CPD) courses.<br/><br/>Students benefit from interaction with research staff at the renowned Centre for Applied Pharmacokinetic Research.<br/><br/>The CPD courses are designed for science, engineering or mathematics graduates, and scientists linked to the pharmaceutical industry who wish to expand their expertise while working in the industry.<br/><br/>You can transfer the credits earned through these CPD units to contribute towards an MSc award if you wish.<br/><br/>**Available units**<br/><br/><br/>- Basic Pharmacokinetics and Pharmacodynamics (6 weeks, 15 credits)<br/><br/><br/>- Physiologically-based Pharmacokinetics and In Vitro-In Vivo Extrapolation (6 weeks, 15 credits)<br/><br/><br/>- Advanced Topics in Physiologically-based PK Models (6 weeks, 15 credits)<br/><br/><br/>- Data Analysis in Pharmacokinetics and Pharmacodynamics (12 weeks, 30 credits) <br/>
