Business Management and Politics at Aberdeen is a great subject combination, adding to your solid foundation in business, management and organisations. The programme has a specific focus on the role of government, political parties, issues and policy and how they interact with the changing corporate landscape, big business, local and national economies and the workforce. This programme will open many career options in the government, public sector and business.<br/><br/>In Business Management, you will gain a wide perspective and thorough grounding in all areas of business, including skills in accountancy and statistics. Your knowledge will be developed in the dynamic, international environment of our Business School where there are 45 nationalities. You will benefit from small class sizes and teaching is delivered by leading figures in the fields of business practice and theory, corporate finance and organisational change. Your learning will be supported by dedicated careers advisers.<br/><br/>In Politics, you will explore different political systems, the process of making and implementing policy, nationalism as well as concepts of democracy and how we vote. You will be taught by experts in political parties and elections, democracy and how we achieve it, energy politics, European integration, regionalism and politics, human rights and development issues and conflict and security.<br/><br/>You will graduate with many options for careers in international business, local and national government, politics, NGOs, media and many other possibilities.
