This includes:<br/><br/>Global migration and refugees<br/>Human trafficking<br/>War and conflict<br/>Threats to democracy<br/>Political instability<br/>Community resilience in the face of conflict and natural disasters<br/>Global pandemics<br/>Climate change<br/>You’ll get the opportunity to do a voluntary work placement and take part in other initiatives relevant to your study.<br/><br/>You’ll get to to make a difference to the lives of people around you, whether working in your own community, pursuing a professional career in policy-making or public services, or doing international development work. Please note that this degree will not qualify you to register as a social worker. If you wish to become a registered social worker, our MA Social Work is a professional qualification recognised by Social Work England. <br/><br/>Why study with us<br/>Explore the interconnectedness of global and local issues. Youll also have a practice placement to enhance your knowledge and skills.<br/>You will be encouraged to develop a range of critical and analytical skills. This will help enhance your personal and professional development.<br/>Youll undertake a diverse range of activities for assessment. This will include a dedicated community research project on a topic that youll select and shape.
