Standard requirements: AAAAB at the first sitting of Highers. Including; Higher Biology (preferably Human Biology) and Chemistry and National 5 English and Mathematics at grade B. Offers will be conditional on three Advanced Highers/'Crash' Highers taken in 6th year, normally at BBB, to include Advanced Higher Biology or Chemistry. WA requirements: AAABB including: Higher Biology (preferably Human Biology) and Chemistry (at least one at grade A) plus Advanced Higher - Biology or Chemistry at grade B and National 5 English and Mathematics at grade B. Three Higher Level subjects at Grade H1 including Chemistry and Biology and three Higher level subjects at Grade H2. We also require English and Mathematics to at least grade O2 / Higher Merit in the Irish Junior Certificate / JCPA. Level 2 entry is not possible to this degree.

To be achieved at the first sitting of A-Levels (A2), to include biology and chemistry, plus GCSE GCSE English and mathematics at B/6. Achievement at GCSE will also be taken into account. General studies A-level is not accepted.
