International Accounting MSc

This course will give you an international perspective of the theory and practice of accounting. It focuses on accounting standards and the impact of leading standard-setting authorities.<br/><br/>Youll investigate the links between different aspects of accounting, finance, management and strategy, for example:<br/><br/><br/>- financial accounting and reporting<br/><br/><br/>- financial management<br/><br/><br/>- management accounting and corporate governance<br/><br/><br/>- accounting and management<br/><br/><br/>- management and strategy<br/><br/><br/>Youll engage with contemporary debates, applying theory to real-world issues in accounting, finance, management and strategy, and explore the challenges involved in applying these theories.<br/><br/>You will also focus on accounting practices and our range of modules means that you can study various reporting methods, strategic accounting, and financial statements analysis. <br/><br/>The degree offers ACCA exemptions from papers F1-F4 (the papers have been renamed as Applied Knowledge AB, Applied Knowledge MA, Applied Knowledge FA and Applied Skills LW).
