**Overview**<br/><br/>During this MSc in Finance and Economics, youll develop expertise in the fields of finance and economics by receiving intensive training in advanced economic theory, econometrics, and research methods, combined with a particular focus on finance. <br/><br/>Many members of the School of Economics are active researchers in the in the areas of Finance and Financial Econometrics, guaranteeing that you’ll receive a strongly research-led learning experience. <br/><br/>MSc Finance and Economics is part of our Academic and Professional Programme – designed for people who have already studied economics and are looking for intensive research-led training in advanced economic theory, econometrics and research methods. <br/><br/>Alongside core modules in economic theory and financial econometrics, youll have the opportunity to choose from a range of optional modules, including technical finance modules alongside more descriptive finance modules. This range gives you the opportunity to tailor the course to your own skills, interests and goals. We offer specialised structural support to help you negotiate your Master’s course. Over the course of the year, we’ll give you training in the use of various online data sources that are likely to be useful in your dissertation research. <br/><br/>In addition to receiving a first-class academic training, you’ll be able to enjoy the wealth of opportunities that UEA offers to cultivate non-academic and sporting interests.
