These concentrations are as follows: psychological and international perspectives in adult education, assessment and pedagogy or inclusive and special education.<br/><br/><br/>- Youll learn from lecturers at the forefront of educational research, as our School of Education is ranked 6th in the UK for ‘Research Power’ – Research Excellence Framework 2014.<br/><br/><br/>- As well as being able to tailor your learning to fit your lifestyle, studying on this programme also means you dont have to sacrifice your current career to pursue a new one.<br/><br/><br/>**PROGRAMME STRUCTURE**<br/><br/>The duration of this programme is 2.5 years - 6 years taken on a part-time basis. For details on full-time options request more information to speak to an admissions representative.<br/><br/>With this programme you can choose your own specialist pathway. After completing the core courses in years one and two, you will be able to undertake a further two optional courses (one in each year). If you wish to specialise your studies according to the pathways available, you would choose the specific courses relating to that subject area:<br/><br/><br/>- Adult Education<br/><br/><br/>- Curriculum, Assessment and Pedagogy<br/><br/><br/>- Inclusive and Special Education<br/><br/><br/>Alternatively, you can tailor the programme to suit your career goals by opting for a general pathway. You will be able to choose from any of the optional courses available from the three different pathways. You will also complete a dissertation in year 3. This will reflect your research interests.<br/>Throughout each course you will be assessed in a variety of ways which could include essays, discussions, blogs, online presentations, interactive quizzes, assignments or group work.
