We explore areas relevant to professional translation, the IT industry, education and language policy, language teaching, and publishing, all of which build your professional skills alongside theoretical understanding.<br/><br/>This course gives you the chance to gain advanced knowledge of different approaches to contemporary linguistic issues and a greater understanding of the mechanisms underlying all human language. With the dissertation, you will carry out a sustained piece of independent research on a relevant topic of your choice.
