**On this exciting four-year course, you’ll learn from experts in the Criminal Justice System and emergency services and get the chance to impress an employer during a placement year.**<br/><br/>Our Forensic and Digital investigation with Industrial Placement course will give you a solid grounding in both forensic science and digital forensics and during a placement year, youll be able to put these skills into practice and showcase your skills to employers.<br/><br/>Taught by industry experts with years of practical experience, you will gain a hands-on understanding of each discipline and how they combine to help solve real-life criminal investigations.<br/><br/>A typical day could see you employing the latest digital technologies and programming languages alongside investigating specialist forensic techniques such as blood pattern analysis, homicide investigation or Disaster Victim Identification.<br/><br/>This course offers a unique combination of modules merging traditional forensics with digital forensic techniques. Currently identified as two separate areas of specialism, introducing conventional forensic science principles into cyber forensics will address a glaring gap in the skills market.
