You will learn how to advise and support people at times of difficulty and deal with a wide range of problems. We offer a variety of inspiring and motivating learning activities led by academics, expert practitioners and service users. This involves the opportunity to learn with students from other health and social care disciplines.<br/><br/>By the end of the course, you will have developed your skills in line with Knowledge and Skills Statements for either adults or children and families social work. You will also have a vision towards the Assessed and Supported Year in Practice.<br/><br/>We offer an employment-based route where applicants are sponsored by their social care employer to complete the course in three years. The employer would be responsible for finding the placement.<br/><br/>**What you should know about this course**<br/><br/><br/>- The course has been approved by Social Work England.<br/><br/><br/>- When you complete this course you become eligible to apply to register with Social Work England (SWE).<br/><br/><br/>- You can study full-time or part-time. Our part-time route is employment-based, and students must be sponsored by their employer.<br/><br/><br/>- We offer opportunities for continued professional development through the accreditation of Practice Educators and through workshops on the Professional Capabilities Framework (PCF).<br/><br/><br/>- Located at the Universitys iconic Greenwich Campus.<br/>
