You are also supported by attendance at the Universitys Generic Training courses, postgraduate seminar series run at Hertfordshire and the Institute of Historical Research and at an annual research weekend in Windsor Great Park. During the course of the degree, you are given opportunities to present your work at major conferences. <br/><br/>Research areas include: Witchcraft; film history; the Cold War; Italian history; London, crime and poverty 1700-1900; social economic and political history of Britain.
