Clinical Education MEd

Develop your skills and understanding of the core concepts of Clinical Education and become an exceptional education practitioner. Rooted in workplace learning, our course is designed to encourage you to make critical and creative connections between your own and your students’ perspectives and practice on teaching, learning and assessment.<br/><br/>Whether youre from clinical settings or Higher Education institutions, this course will develop your understanding of the education and assessment of the next generation of clinical practitioners.<br/><br/>With us, you will:<br/><br/><br/>- Debate and discuss the central themes and issues in clinical education.<br/><br/><br/>- Explore the differences between clinical and educational research.<br/><br/><br/>- Undertake introductory research training in educational research.<br/><br/><br/>- Design and conduct small-scale empirical research on a topic relevant to the clinical education workplace.<br/><br/><br/>- Complete two compulsory modules in the second year (PGDip year) in a specified order. <br/><br/><br/>The second year of our course is delivered completely online. In your final year (MEd year), you’ll complete a dissertation with support from an academic supervisor completely online.
