You’ll graduate from Leeds as a highly qualified and well-equipped professional. You’ll also be trained to think critically, work independently and be prepared to practice as a General Council-defined safe beginner dentist.<br/><br/>You’ll engage in clinical learning from an early stage so that you can apply your academic theoretical knowledge to the clinical environment. Your time on the course will develop your clinical reasoning, communication, leadership skills, clinical operative skills and your ability to work as part of a dental team. Clinical skills are gained through simulated clinical phantom head and digital haptic technology, followed by clinical experience on real patients in a range of environments. You will learn about the professional and ethical practice of dentistry.
