The Management School is amongst an elite group of business schools to hold the gold standard triple accreditation.<br/><br/>Our BA Marketing programme is a specialist degree that provides a solid grounding in the main management disciplines with a chance to specialise in marketing, allowing you to examine how customers and consumers behave, how markets function and evolve and how firms interact with these markets.<br/><br/>Taught by staff with a mixture of research and professional backgrounds, you can be confident of studying a programme full of interesting and relevant content that underpins the important role that marketing plays in business and society.<br/><br/>Our links with local businesses provide opportunities to network and develop the skills that make our graduates stand out and work in large organisations such as Mediacom, McCann, Accenture, BT as well as smaller companies and specialist marketing agencies. <br/><br/>Links with professional bodies<br/>With excellent teaching and quality content the programme is accredited by the Chartered Institute of Marketing, allowing students the choice of completing specific modules to work towards a CIM L4 Certificate in Professional Marketing and a CIM L6 Diploma in Strategic Marketing. The programme is also accredited by the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA).<br/><br/>The third year of your programme is spent on placement. You will complete a year-long graduate-level placement, providing valuable work experience and an opportunity to further enhance the skills and attributes sought after by top employers.<br/><br/>You can apply for UK-based placements with a large organisation or smaller company or even seek a placement overseas. You will be visited at least twice by University staff whilst on placement with support from the Placement Team throughout and complete related assessments in May.
