The Year Abroad will allow you to study at one of our partner universities around the world, following a mixture of culture and discipline-related modules.<br/><br/>Physics and Mathematics degrees are highly prized and our graduates have excellent career opportunities in industrial research and development, computing, business, finance and teaching.<br/>We offer one three-year BSc degree and two four-year degrees, MMath or MPhys, combining these two intimately related disciplines. These programmes provide a strong mathematical training, and mathematical techniques help you to deal with new ideas that often seem counterintuitive, such as string theory, black holes, superconductors and chaos theory.<br/><br/>This programme is accredited by the Institute of Physics (IOP) for the purpose of fully meeting the educational requirement for Chartered Physicist.
