Our Development Economics MSc uses modern economic analysis and empirical methods to explore theories, issues and evidence relating to developing countries. It focuses on the specific economic challenges of some of the poorest countries in the world and looks at the success and failure of different economies.<br/><br/>You will learn from experts in their field and our teaching is informed by the research of the Centre for Research in Economic Development and International Trade. The centre’s principle interests are trade policy, the macroeconomics of aid, the analysis of household surveys and the design of experiments in developing countries.<br/><br/>You will take specialist core modules and choose from a range of options to suit your interests. You will also receive one-to-one guidance to enable you to complete your research project.<br/><br/>With an advanced economics degree from the University of Nottingham, you will graduate with all the knowledge, practical skills and confidence you need to stand out to employers and progress as a professional economist or academic researcher.
