The worlds philosophical and religious traditions can help us cope with these demands.<br/><br/>Youll get a thorough introduction to:<br/>- what we mean by ethics<br/><br/><br/>- the principles of ethical reasoning and persuasion<br/><br/><br/>- the Christian, Muslim and Jewish traditions<br/><br/><br/>Your modules will take different philosophical and theological perspectives and apply them to a range of questions such as:<br/>- How does the media shape what we think?<br/><br/><br/>- Who decides what justice is?<br/><br/><br/>- How have authors of fantasy and science fiction explored religious and ethical ideas?<br/><br/><br/>Across both subjects your lecturers come from a wide range of backgrounds and use a variety of approaches. This results in diverse teaching and strengthens your studies.<br/><br/>No previous academic experience of Religious Studies or Philosophy is needed to take this course.<br/><br/>**Combine with other subjects**<br/>You can also combine Religion and Philosophy with other subjects on our Liberal Arts BA.<br/><br/>**Foundation Year**<br/>This course is also available with a Foundation Year - aimed at developing potential and diversifying our recruitment.
