The role has a wide range of applications, from the management of new build projects, maintenance and refurbishment, to strategic asset management.<br/><br/>USWs Construction Project Management degree prepares you for a variety of project management roles in the construction industry. You will develop core project management skills that reflect the needs of the profession, such as programming and planning, project administration, risk management, construction technology, contract practice, health and safety, sustainability, and managing people.<br/><br/>You will study the latest practice and procedures for the project management of new-build and refurbishment projects. Your studies will cover industrial initiatives such as strategic partnering and collaboration, prefabrication and offsite manufacture, lean construction techniques, and dispute resolution. You will also learn how to apply critical thinking to your experiences, which will help you work towards continuous professional development.<br/><br/>Your Construction Project Management degree will allow you to manage effectively the range of tasks involved in a construction project. You’ll be able to take responsibility for time, quality, and health and safety, and overcome the challenges of new-build or refurbishment projects.<br/><br/>The Construction Project Management course is accredited by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS). When you graduate, you’ll have the ability and confidence to begin a graduate career as a project management surveyor and work towards corporate membership of the RICS.
