You will gain a sound understanding of the knowledge, skills and principles that will prepare you for employment in your chosen health and social care setting.<br/><br/>Youll learn about all aspects of an individuals journey through the health and social care pathway, considering the leadership, management, policy, contemporary issues and practice that influence their experiences. In the final year, you can choose modules to help tailor the degree to meet your career aspirations.<br/><br/>Getting out of the classroom and into the workplace is a key part of your learning. There are work placements throughout the course, which help you develop a clear picture of the different careers open to you. In the Graduate Survey 2016, 100% of our students were in employment or further study within six months of graduation.<br/><br/>This health, wellbeing and social care management course has a multi-agency approach that encompasses social services, the NHS, third and independent sectors. Youll benefit from placements in a range of settings, which will enable you to work with a variety of people and in multi-agency environments.<br/><br/>You will gain essential research and employability skills that will support you in gaining employment in a wide range of roles, including support management, service co-ordinators and other management roles in health and social care. Our students benefit from excellent academic and pastoral support, as well as being taught by research-active staff who have strong partnerships with health and social care sectors.<br/><br/>The course is based at our Glyntaff campus.
