You will gain knowledge of the law and its application in the real world, learn how to analyse and solve problems, and how to present logical, reasoned arguments. This emphasis on skills means you’ll be ready for the challenges of any career. We encourage personal development through practical options and employability initiatives. You can gain experience at our Legal and Financial Advice Clinic, advising clients on legal issues, and on completion of appropriate modules, you can gain exemption from Part 2 of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives, enabling member status.<br/><br/>Foundation Year<br/><br/>The LLB (Hons) Law is also available as a four year course including an integrated Foundation Year, and is designed for students who do not currently meet admissions criteria for direct entry onto the degree.<br/><br/>You will start by completing a foundation year, which provides well structured support, allowing you to develop your skills and knowledge before continuing onto the three year degree programme.
