Globally, Sussex is well-known for its teaching and research in international development. This may include the environment, health, poverty, humanitarianism or rights.

The MA focuses on issues of anthropological engagement, development policy and activism. You will:

- learn from anthropology experts who are applying their research to real-world scenarios

- put theory into practice through hands-on training, analysing case studies and your dissertation

- connect with our global network of research partnerships, alumni and professionals

- enjoy guest lectures, career events, and the opportunity to do a research placement.

**About Sussex**

Our courses, research, culture and campus aim to stimulate, excite and challenge.
