On our BASc Theatre and Performance Studies and Global Sustainable Development (GSD) degree you will apply your passion for Theatre to answering the pressing questions of our time by studying the subject in combination with GSD.<br/><br/>Theatre has the power to question and challenge ideas and beliefs. It helps people consider the way they live their lives and how their actions affect others. It brings into sharp focus our impact upon the world and how we might effect changes for the better. On this course you will explore the radical and revolutionary artistic power of theatre and entertainment, linking this to today’s global challenges.<br/><br/>Warwicks vibrant student drama scene also gives you opportunities to get involved with many kinds of production through our theatre student societies, with projects at Warwick Arts Centre (a core partner of the Theatre and Performance Studies Department), the National Student Drama Festival, and the Edinburgh Festival.<br/><br/>By studying GSD, you will take a transdisciplinary approach and confront issues from a diverse array of perspectives. You will need to be ready to think creatively and embrace new opinions from your peers from across the world. We will challenge you to become an active participant in your own learning.<br/><br/>You can enhance your skills and studies through optional work placements, study abroad, and certificates.
