Electronic Engineering with Music Technology Systems Meng (Hon)

You’ll not just learn how this technology is applied in making and recording music, but also use your engineering expertise to design and build the next generation of audio technology. The MEng is a fully accredited engineering course which combines professional electronics with audio and music technology. This course will consolidate your knowledge of fundamental principles and introduce you to more advanced concepts. Youll experience a large team software engineering multimedia project, as well as managing a substantial individual project, allowing you to develop the knowledge and skills required to become a leader in the industry. With an increased choice of advanced option modules, youll have the opportunity to work with our latest innovative technology and engage with world-class researchers from the AudioLab. Please note that this course is identical to our MEng Music Technology Systems. You can choose which title you graduate with, based on your own career interests. All of our courses are available with a year in industry, which gives you the opportunity to gain vital experience in the workplace and find out more about your career options. The year in industry is generally taken in the year prior to your final year of study. The School will help you to find a suitable placement. You will be fully supported by an academic member of staff who will visit you in the workplace and meet you regularly to discuss your placement work.
