Casual games platforms, new funding models, new development tools, and an ever-expanding marketplace means there is huge potential for students wishing to set up as independent games developers or take the next steps towards pursuing employment within the games industry. FdA Indie Games has been designed to allow you to build video games from initial inception all the way through to published content giving you valuable experience in a large variety of methods and techniques that will allow you to fully realise your creative ideas and launch them on a variety of platforms utilising industry standard techniques and technologies. <br/><br/>FdA Indie Games develops your ability to design and develop video game content. You will concentrate on the main areas of game design, game production, publishing, and marketing which will provide you with practical experience of the roles and responsibilities required to make a successful independent game development team. Throughout the course you will be expected to study a range of research, design, production and publishing techniques, with the focus on producing a range of functional prototypes and complete independent games using industry standard software.
